MAX FRANK WINS HIS FIRST FEATURE OF THE SEASON

Owendale, MI (Saturday, June 24, 2023) -Great Lakes Traditional Sprints presented by PErfit Engine Pro (GLTS) had their first mini track race of the season at Silver Bullet Speedway. We did have a rough night out on the track, but thankfully none of the drivers got injured. We had caution after cation during the Feature Race which may of been due to track conditions. Though we had a rough night, GLTS really knows how to put on a fantastic show! The night was packed with a thrilling event of high speed racing and an amazing turnout in the stands. To start this right, we would like to say thank you to all the drivers, fans, sponsors, and staff members who came out to the race and supported us.

Max Frank (Williamston, MI) started in 4th place and after a few laps and cautions, he was able to pass by Jason Ferguson (Fremont ,MI) who was holding the lead. Ferguson was right on Frank's tale the whole Feature Race and it was a battle between them. Frank was able to hold his lead after all of the cautions and take home his first Feature Race win of the 2023 season!

Ian Hunter (Thamesford, ON) ended up winning the Hoosier Racing Tire Hard Charger starting in 12th place and charging all the way up to 5th. Steve Irwin (Fenton, MI) sets a fast time taking home the MPD Racing Fast Qualifier!

Irwin wins the Engler Machine and Tool Heat Race 1. Jay Steinbach (Hudsonville, MI) wins the Beacon & Bridge Market Heat Race 2.
